The AUERBACH IXION AX1-TL is an industrial CNC deep-hole drilling machine designed for the precise machining of workpieces, particularly for producing deep holes with small to medium diameters.
The machine is equipped with a powerful high-pressure coolant system and is designed for deep-hole drilling with single-lip carbide drills from Ø 3 to 25 mm. The coolant system has a tank capacity of 600 litres, a maximum coolant pressure of 90 bar and a maximum flow rate of 40 l/min. This ensures reliable cooling and efficient chip removal even during deep-hole drilling operations.
The worktable measures 900 × 500 mm and is designed for a maximum table load of 2,000 kg. Four longitudinal T-slots provide flexible and secure workpiece clamping.
The main spindle is driven by a 4.0 kW AC motor. Two belt-driven speed ranges provide programmable spindle speeds of 300–6,000 rpm and 100–1,600 rpm, allowing the machine to be adapted to different tool diameters and machining requirements.
