The bellows cover protects the spindle and guides. The testing machine is microprocessor-controlled and has a foil keyboard. A 2-line LCD display shows the force and displacement. The testing machine can be used as a standalone unit or connected to a PC via a USB interface. The displacement measurement is performed using an encoder with a visible resolution of 0.01 mm on the LCD (internally 0.0001 mm).
