Description
The optional inspection systems are offered as special features of the KAMA FF 52i:
Fodpfsw H N Eijx Afpegh
1. Glued seam inspection
2. Inspection of the gluing flap code such as colour code, QR code, etc.
3. 100% inspection for dirt and defects in text, colour, hot foil, and even cold embossing, as well as creases.
The inspection systems are controlled by Baumer hhs; they are, of course, GMP-compliant, and non-conforming boxes are reliably ejected by the FF 52i. If desired, these features can also be implemented using other manufacturers’ systems. Inspection and removal processes are logged automatically.
Examples of changeover times from a customer with very short production runs.
Addressing Print 4.0
Like all KAMA machines, the FF 52i can be integrated into the customer’s IT network via a data terminal and/or connected to the internet to communicate with internal production departments, MIS software, and the KAMA service department for remote maintenance. All jobs can be saved either on a central server or locally on the machine. The machine is also prepared to receive and send data, such as electronic job tickets, track & trace information, etc., using the JDF Standard.
The machine can be adapted to the following applications:
- Straight-line boxes
- Lock-bottom boxes
- Pillow boxes
- Automatic boxes (crash-lock)
- Slip-lid boxes
Modules of the basic machine:
- Friction feeder with two main setting guides
- Belt feeder with six suction belts
- Alignment unit for left or right alignment
- Pre-breaking unit for creasing lines R1 and R3 (gluing flap 180°; right 135°)
- KAMA gluing disc unit with exchangeable glue disc
- KAMA final fold section, fully automated with patented APA system (Automated Plough Adjustment), and ejector
- Transfer station with kicker for counting products
- Pressing section with three pressure zones
- Delivery belt
- Operation and control:
- Touchscreen operation with pictograms and multiple languages
- Movable operating panel for convenient operation and inching mode
- Data management for repeat orders
For remote maintenance, the machine requires a network cable and configuration of the unique and permanent static IP address, subnet mask, DNS-server IP addresses (primary and secondary), and standard gateway IP address.
Technical data:
- Dimensions (L x W x H): approx. 13 x 1.2 x 1.5 m
- Production speed: 20–250 m/min (straight-line box), 20–100 m/min (automatic bottom box)
- Max. blank width: 520 mm
