Description
WSM Stationary Screwing Unit, Screwing Station
Assembly of parts for car radios and navigation systems, as well as testing of these parts.
The assembly station is surrounded by a protective enclosure.
The service doors are equipped with monitoring switches with a holding (locking) function.
In automatic operation, the doors are locked and can only be opened when the automatic cycle is stopped or in manual mode after pressing the "Doors" button on the control panel. The automatic cycle cannot be started with the door open.
Functional sequence:
The station is supplied with the pre-assembled unit via the conveyor belt.
The following describes the work steps of the automatic station with a single unit passing through.
Nlodoibichepfx Ab Reh
In normal operation, all 3 stations work in parallel.
- Positioning the unit with the pre-assembled unit in station 2.1
- Lowering the carrier with the scanner and vision sensor
- Scanning the 3 codes (front panel, front PCB, SD PCB), comparing with the database
- Checking the correct locking of the FFC in the connector
- Raising the carrier and lowering the unit onto the belt
- Positioning the unit with the pre-assembled unit in station 2.2
- Positioning the screwdriver and screwing in the front PCB
- Lowering the unit onto the belt
- Positioning the unit with the pre-assembled unit in station 2.3
- Lowering the light protection cover and establishing contact, positioning the carrier with the test sensors from below
- Type-dependent testing of the lighting of the SD and CD slots and buttons
- Function test of the CD eject button
- Lowering the unit onto the belt > continue
If errors occur during the test, they are displayed on the screen and can be corrected if possible.
To do this, switch to manual mode and open the doors. After the repair and starting the automatic cycle, the unit is tested again in the station.
If no repair is possible (e.g. screwing error), the unit is marked as NIO (Not In Order) in the control system and is not processed further.
A manual NIO marking and removal is also possible.
