The FIVE clamping system consists of a series of height-adjustable columns that serve as workpiece holders. The columns are available in various heights, allowing workpieces to be inspected even in their final installed form.

An air cushion located on the underside of the columns ensures smooth movement of the columns on the measuring plate. Powerful magnets lock the column in place as soon as the air supply decreases.

The measuring software guides a gripper, which is attached to the quill of the measuring machine, to the correct position. This allows the operator to quickly position the column at the calculated target point.

A wide selection of interchangeable support and clamping modules makes it possible to configure specific referencing modules for each clamping position. The referencing modules ensure that the workpiece can be repeatedly attached to the FIVE column. This allows the workpiece to be removed from the measuring table as needed.
