Description

Holmatro hydraulic cutters are used extensively in the decommissioning of nuclear power stations where cutting power and reliability are of paramount importance. The wide range of standard hydraulic cutters, with a cutting capacity of 95 tonnes, covers most applications, but special shapes and projects can also be discussed. On request the cutters can be equipped with a telescopic hand control or a specially developed remote control. The oil in the system can be replaced with water glycol, which is less harmful to radioactive waste. There are also options to strengthen the hardened anodized coating of the blades to make them more suitable for higher pH values.
