ELDOS is the electrically driven metering device from Kverneland for pneumatic seed drilling.
ELDOS is controlled via the Kverneland e-com electronics and is 100% ISOBUS compatible. The automatic partial width control, GEOCONTROL, automatically stops/starts the metering device. Overlaps or gaps at the headland or with sloping field contours are avoided. Special sensors ensure complete functionality from the tractor cab. Calibration is automatic, and a range of interchangeable seed metering rotors can be exchanged without tools, even with a full hopper. Sensors monitor the metering rotors and issue a warning if the wrong rotor has been installed accidentally.
The f-drill is available with one or, in the DUO version, with two ELDOS metering devices. Two ELDOS metering devices are possible when larger quantities are to be applied. The entire conveying system is based on the Venturi principle. No additional effort is required to keep the system sealed. The open Venturi system guarantees the accuracy of the desired dosage and also ensures the application of higher application rates.
