Segmented sanding pad (E): With the E-Plus configuration, the fine sanding unit features a segmented, electronically controlled sanding pad with a scanning width of 35 mm instead of the pneumatic version. This allows for even more precise fine sanding in the edge area of the workpieces. The edge pressure of the sanding segments is automatically controlled, but can also be precisely adjusted on the touchscreen to more precisely influence the sanding around the workpiece edges. Changing the graphite sliding coating is also quick and easy. Top adjustment: For over three decades, we have equipped our machines exclusively with top adjustment. Why? While more complex in design than table adjustment, it is also superior in many respects. The machine can handle heavier workpieces, maintains its precision more reliably, and offers the advantage of a constant working height. Workpiece dimensions: The upper section, i.e., the through-hole, is motorized and can be finely adjusted via a touchscreen. The maximum through-hole height is 160 mm. With a working width of 1350 mm, the Kündig Master offers a generous, tried-and-tested standard size.
