Condition: new, Year of construction: 2026, CORMAK G5025 Metal Band Saw – Precision Cutting of Steel, Pipes and Profiles The CORMAK G5025 metal band saw is a professional cutting machine designed for precise cutting of pipes, profiles, bars, and components made from various grades of steel. Its robust construction, hydraulic saw arm descent adjustment, and two blade speeds make it an excellent choice for both individual and series production. The CORMAK G5025 allows straight and angled cutting thanks to its bi-directional swivelling saw arm. Its stable construction and precision blade guiding system ensure high cutting repeatability and comfortable operation. Main Advantages of the CORMAK G5025 Band Saw - Two blade speeds – 36 and 72 m/min – allow cutting parameters to be adjusted to the type of material being processed. - Hydraulic, stepless saw arm descent adjustment – enables precise control of the feed rate during cutting. - Robust profiled cast iron saw arm – provides high structural rigidity and minimises vibrations. - Bearing and carbide blade guides – ensure stable and accurate guidance of the cutting blade. - Bi-directional swivelling saw arm – enables mitre cutting at angles ranging from -45° to +60°. - Cooling system – an electric pump and coolant collection tray help effectively remove heat and contaminants from the cutting area. - Automatic drive shut-off after cutting – increases operational safety and convenience. - Protective guards and safety microswitches – enhance operator protection during operation. Band Saw Construction and Technology Rigid Cast Iron Saw Arm The saw arm is manufactured from profiled cast iron. Its high structural rigidity reduces vibrations generated during cutting and helps maintain accurate cutting geometry. Cutting Blade Drive System Power is transmitted from the electric motor through a worm gearbox to the blade drive wheel. This solution ensures stable operation and efficient torque transmission when cutting steel components. Precision Blade Guidance and Tensioning The blade is guided by adjustable bearing and carbide guides. The mechanical, manually operated blade tensioning system allows the blade to be properly prepared for operation and ensures correct blade tension. Hydraulic Saw Arm Descent Adjustment The stepless hydraulic adjustment system enables precise control of the saw arm descent speed according to the type, shape, and cross-section of the material being cut. This ensures smoother cutting and helps prevent excessive blade loading.
