Operating principle
The KV 540 HP online easily processes all thermoplastic shrink films such as polyethylene, PVC and polypropylene, whether clear or printed. The system operates with two film rolls at once (upper and lower film). The machine is equipped with a photoelectric control and automatically adjusts the work cycle according to the product length. The product is fed into the machine either manually or automatically via product-specific feeding devices using the infeed conveyor belt, which triggers the closing of the sealing tools. Sealing is done with a continuously heated cutting and sealing blade. A precisely and steplessly adjustable temperature control of the sealing tools prevents unpleasant odours. The advanced film guiding system allows for packaging of items with varying heights and lengths in any sequence without machine adjustments.
