Citronix professional wire feeder with servo technology - means that it uses ac servo motor for motor drive, which enables it not only to feed wire very precisely even when the speed is low, but also the ability to set the length in „mm“ for wire withdrawal, and also, after the material is cooled down, we can push it again (the smallest step 0,1 mm)
This is a very important feat with laser welding, and this working method is an advantage compared to wire feeders made in the Far East, since with those machines the function of withdrawal and pushing the wire is set on time, and the consequence of this method is that the tip of the welding wire never comes back to the place where the withdrawal started.
We made the Citronix wire feeder in a way that it can control not only the wire feeding process, but it can also manage (turn on and off) both the laser source and the gas magnetic valve. This is another significant difference and advantage compared to other manufacturers, because usually there is no spot welding technology in laser welding machines, so if someone wants to weld sheets in the spot welding technology, he can set the spot time and the wire feeder will control the laser source.
Wire feeder has 4 operation technologies:
1. continuous welding with wire feeding;

3. spot welding without wire feeding;
Wire feeder has 200 memory cells – locations, if the parameters are set, they can be saved on the memory location and we can name them in any number or text combination, in order to make use easier.
We also developed a foot pedal, which can be attached to the wire feeder and regulate the feeding speed. It works like a gas pedal in motor vehicles. If, for example, we set the maximal speed 10 meter per minute on the display, and press the pedal all the way, the speed will be 10 meter per minute (or the speed we set), if pressed only half way, the speed will be half of the set speed. This feat can be used if the operator remains in one place, for example if he is sitting. If this pedal isn't necessary, the wire feeder can be attached to the system in a manner to turn on-off the welding process from the button on the torch. This pedal is optional, and in case you want to order it, it is additionally charged 400 EUR.
