Description:
Fully automatic L-seal flow packaging machine for packaging products—regardless of their length—with a full wrap and without film overlap. Maximum output is approx. 85 cycles/min. Product feeding is carried out via a conveyor belt, simultaneously wrapping the item in a centre-folded film using a forming shoulder. Product indexing is managed by photoelectric sensors. The feed conveyor can be smoothly adjusted for different product widths. After the product is wrapped in film, the cross sealing is performed by a permanently heated sealing system. Longitudinal sealing is achieved via a continuous side sealing unit. The height of both the forming shoulder and sealing systems can be manually adjusted. The remaining film trim is collected on a film winding device.

Operating principle
The KV 540 HP online easily processes all thermoplastic shrink films such as polyethylene, PVC and polypropylene, whether clear or printed. The system operates with two film rolls at once (upper and lower film). The machine is equipped with a photoelectric control and automatically adjusts the work cycle according to the product length. The product is fed into the machine either manually or automatically via product-specific feeding devices using the infeed conveyor belt, which triggers the closing of the sealing tools. Sealing is done with a continuously heated cutting and sealing blade. A precisely and steplessly adjustable temperature control of the sealing tools prevents unpleasant odours. The advanced film guiding system allows for packaging of items with varying heights and lengths in any sequence without machine adjustments. An integrated shrink tunnel attached to the bundling machine receives the loosely sealed products by means of an outfeed conveyor belt and shrinks the package tightly around the goods with precisely controlled hot air.
Operating speed
The machine’s hourly throughput in continuous operation is up to 1,000 packs, depending on the article size and feeding type.
