Condition: new, The AMIS twin-shaft shredder is equipped with a CNC-manufactured, heavy-duty grinding chamber that is fully bolted for easy maintenance. Both the machine housing and the bearings are protected by wear rings and plates. The geared motors drive the two hexagonal working shafts, which can be fitted with various interchangeable cutting discs. The two working shafts are mounted in large-sized SKF spherical roller bearings with lifetime lubrication. Optionally, an automatic, battery-powered continuous lubrication system for the main bearings can be installed. Special features The change of wear plates and scrapers does not require disassembly of the machine housing. Thanks to the horizontally split bearing plates, the rotors including the bearings can be inserted or removed from above in a very short time. This allows for quick and easy rotor changes with different cutting tools.
