It raises bottles between the levels of a filling line and works with two synchronously running endless chains whose carrier elements take the bottle from both sides, so the container is guided upright over the whole climb. The nominal capacity is 45,500 bottles per hour at a conveying speed of approximately 60 m/min. The conveying width is set by hand crank across a range of 20 to 150 mm, so a format change needs no tooling. The machine is enclosed in transparent guarding, has service doors with safety switches, an automatic central lubrication system and a pneumatic chain tensioning station.
