Year of construction: 2000, condition: like new (used), functionality: fully functional, Laroche Airlay carding machine for short fiber layering. It produces layers for needling or thermal bonding for upholstery, underlays, insulation, and automotive applications. In practice, on your production line, the 2,400 mm working width covers bedding, felt, and geotextile formats without prior cutting. The integrated weighing table stabilizes the basis weight continuously, and the installed power of 51 kW maintains the production rate with dense fibers. Detailed product description: The Laroche textile machine for layering non-woven fibers. Designed for layering short and coarse fibers, this Laroche Airlay carding machine forms layers for needling or thermal bonding. It is suitable for upholstery, underlays, thermal and acoustic insulation felts, automotive carpets, and agricultural geotextiles. In reality, a well-maintained used machine provides real production flexibility across several markets without multiplying changeover operations. Production characteristics and weight control: The 2,400 mm working width covers standard bedding, insulation, and geotextile formats, with less trimming required at the output. What truly changes in production is the integrated weighing table: it allows for quick correction of basis weight variations and limits waste at startup and during steady-state operation. The installed power of 51 kW supports the line when the material load becomes irregular or denser. The speed of up to 10 m/min is adjusted according to the layer weight and the type of fibers, which allows for a balanced approach between hourly output and layer uniformity. Production versatility and textile recycling: The adjustable layer weight of 500 to 1,500 g/m² covers lightweight underlays, heavier insulation felts, and upholstery items. In practice, on your production line, this range avoids dedicating a machine to each product family and reduces internal transfers. The machine accepts both natural and recycled fibers. On a non-woven line, I prefer this type of carding machine when it is necessary to absorb variations in raw materials while maintaining a usable layer before consolidation. Dsdpsy Urmljfx Akmewc Textile and non-woven sectors covered by this carding machine: This carding machine meets the needs of upholstery and bedding, underlays for footwear and clothing, thermal and acoustic insulation felts, automotive carpets, and agricultural geotextiles. First and foremost, it is important to verify the compatibility between your fiber mix, your target basis weight, and the expected uniformity downstream. The 2,400 mm width and the adjustable layer weight make it a suitable piece of equipment for a workshop seeking versatility without complicating operations. What the technical data sheet does not say is that this type of configuration also simplifies medium-sized production runs when switching from one application to another with minimal downtime.
