Description
The RT-690R disc chipper, with its hydraulically driven infeed rollers, was specifically designed for shredding branches, tree trunks up to a diameter of 13 cm, and other wood waste. The size of the wood chips can be regulated by adjusting the four blades. These blades are attached to a cutting disc with a diameter of 625 mm, which gains additional momentum due to its weight of 60 kg.
To ensure safe operation, the disc chipper is equipped with a safety switch and safety guards. The discharge chute can be rotated 360°, allowing the shredded material to be directed in any desired direction. The RT-690R model offers efficient and convenient operation, with the resulting material being used either as firewood or for composting.
The chipper is driven by the tractor's power take-off shaft (PTO). It is recommended to use drive shafts with shear bolts, which are also available from us. In the event of an overload, the bolt will shear, and the drive will be disconnected. PTOs can also be purchased from us. The chipper's bearings can be greased via grease nipples.
