Description

Description

The RT-660R PTO disc chipper for tractors was specifically designed for shredding branches, tree trunks with a diameter of up to 12 cm, and other wood waste. The size of the wood chips can be adjusted by setting the four knives, which are attached to a cutting disc with a diameter of 620 mm. The disc gains additional momentum due to its weight.
For safe operation, the disc chipper is equipped with a safety switch and safety guards. The discharge chute can be rotated 360°, allowing the shredded material to be directed in any desired direction. The RT-660R model enables efficient and comfortable operation, and the resulting material can be used either as firewood (suitable for transport with an auger) or for composting.
The chipper is driven by the tractor's power take-off (right-hand rotation). It is recommended to use drive shafts with shear bolts, which will shear in the event of an overload and disconnect the drive. The bearings can be greased through the grease nipples.
