Description
The RT-720R wood chipper is equipped with hydraulic infeed rollers and is designed for shredding branches, logs up to a diameter of 17 cm, and other wood materials. The thickness of the shredded material can be regulated by adjusting the feed speed of the rollers. The blades are attached to a cutting blade with a diameter of 720 mm, which, due to its weight of 85 kg, enables powerful movement.
For safe operation of the machine, the chipper has a safety switch and protective devices. In addition, a system for retracting the material from the infeed hopper is integrated. The 360° rotatable discharge chute allows the flow of wood chips to be directed in the desired direction. The chipper is characterized by high efficiency and ease of use, and the shredded material can be used either as fuel (suitable for screw conveyors) or for composting.
The chipper is driven via the tractor's power take-off (clockwise rotation). It is recommended to use drive shafts with shear pin couplings. In the event of an overload, the pin shears, which automatically disengages the drive. The ball bearings can be lubricated via grease nipples in the bearing housings.
