Description

Description

The REMET RT-720RH disc chipper for tractors has its own engine, which is powered by the power take-off (PTO). This engine drives the infeed rollers, which can draw in branches and other pieces of wood up to 17 cm in diameter. The thickness of the shredded wood can be adjusted by changing the speed of the infeed rollers. The blades are attached to a large disc with a diameter of 720 mm, which gains additional power from its weight of 85 kg.
An emergency stop switch is provided for the operator's safety. It is also possible to retrieve material that has been drawn into the hopper. The discharge chute can be rotated 360° in all directions, which makes it easier to collect the shredded wood. This machine operates very efficiently. The wood chips can be used either as fuel or for composting.
The chipper is powered by the tractor's PTO. It is recommended to use a PTO with a shear bolt. The shear bolt protects the machine from damage if the material blocks it. Lubrication nipples are provided to lubricate the machine's bearings.
