Description

The RX-180 wood chipper is equipped with hydraulic infeed rollers and is specifically designed for shredding branches, logs with a diameter of up to 18 cm, and other wood materials. The thickness of the resulting wood chips can be regulated by adjusting the speed of the material feed via the guide rollers. The double-sided blades are attached to a cutting disc with a diameter of 710 mm, which, thanks to its weight (95 kg), can effortlessly shred branches and logs.
To ensure safe operation, the chipper is equipped with a safety switch and guards. In addition, the chipper has a system for controlling the feed rate of the processed material and a system for removing material from the feed hopper. The discharge chute can be rotated to direct the discharge of the wood chips in the desired direction, while keeping the operator's work area clear.
The RX-180 is characterized by its high efficiency and ease of use. The produced wood chips can be used as fuel (suitable for screw conveyors) or as compost or bedding under bushes.
The chipper is driven via the power transmission shaft from the tractor's PTO to the 1 3/8 inch PTO shaft in the chipper. It is recommended to use PTO shafts with a slip clutch or shear bolt clutch to disconnect the drive in the event of an overload. The bearing lubrication is done via raised lubrication points.

Optionally, the RX-180 chipper can be equipped with an independent hydraulic pump.
