Description

The RX-230 wood chipper is equipped with hydraulic feed rollers and is specifically designed to efficiently shred branches, tree trunks with a diameter of up to 23 cm, and other wood materials. The thickness of the wood chips can be adjusted by controlling the speed of the feed rollers. The double-sided blades are attached to a large cutting disc with a diameter of 920 mm, which, due to its weight of 135 kg, can easily shred branches and trunks.
For safety, the chipper is equipped with a safety switch and protective covers. A system for controlling the material feed and removal from the hopper improves safety and efficiency. The discharge chute can be rotated to direct the wood chips in the desired direction without interfering with the operator's work area.
The RX-230 offers high performance and comfort during operation. The resulting wood chips can be used in a variety of ways, whether as fuel for screw conveyors or as material for compost or as bedding under shrubs.
The chipper is powered via the tractor's power take-off shaft; it is recommended to use a universal joint with a slip clutch or shear pin clutch to protect the drive in case of overload. The bearings are maintained via special lubrication points.
The RX-230H chipper is equipped with its own oil supply system with hydraulic pump/tank. No hydraulic connection to the tractor is necessary.
