It consists of an oscillating head excited by a frequency-controlled asynchronous motor using an unbalance motor, which is arranged in the upper part of the machine and generates the dynamic amplitude. The oscillating head is supported by pre-tensioned helical compression springs on the upper crossbeam and is guided centrally. The medium-load drive is arranged in the lower part of the machine and applies the static preload with the help of a gear motor via a spindle drive.
