Key Features:
Spading shaft with spade arms turns and mixes the soil instead of ploughing. Driven harrow/roller (harkrol) behind the spader creates a firm seedbed. Low maintenance: only about 6 grease points, accessible from outside. Semi-automatic chain tensioners for drive chains. Can be combined with seeders or planters for one-pass soil preparation and planting.
Advantages of Imants Spaders:
No “plough pan” because the tractor runs on top of the soil surface. Good mixing of crop residues, manure, or green manure into the topsoil. Even and well-aerated soil structure after cultivation.
