It is suspected that the electrician should take the following into consideration: • Connection type: Three-phase current 380V/400V (3 phases + neutral + earth). • Power socket: Due to the current intensity (22.8 A), a CEE 32A socket (red industrial socket) is required. • Protection: The motor must be protected with slow-blow fuses (e.g., type C circuit breakers or Neozed fuses) to handle the high inrush current. A 32A (three-pole) protection is recommended. • Motor protection: A motor protection switch set to the rated current (here 22.8 A) is absolutely necessary to protect the motor from overload. Important note: The specifications (71.5 rpm, 5 Hz) indicate either a very slow-running special motor or a motor operated via a frequency inverter. Commissioning should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
