Scheugenpflug piston dispensing systems operate on the principle of volumetric dispensing; the quantity of material dispensed is mechanically determined by the geometry and stroke of the associated cylinders. The cylinder is filled with the potting material via a connected material supply system. When a two-component medium is used, the ratio of resin to hardener is simultaneously determined by the volumes of the two cylinders. Precisely dimensioned dispensing cylinders ensure the delivery of reproducible material volumes.
