Unit A injects the primary material into the mould at 1834 bar. Immediately afterwards, Unit B injects the second material or colour from a 90° angle into the same mould at 1620 bar. The two materials bond at a molecular level inside the mould, cooling is completed and the ejectors push out the finished 2K part as a single piece. No gluing, screwing or assembly is required — two materials emerge as one single part in a single cycle. Applications Automotive interior and exterior trim parts, large technical plastic components, parts combining a rigid body with a soft grip surface, two-colour large-surface parts.
