The mill with a rotor TWISTER was designed specifically for preparing a food sample (e.g. feed) for NIR analysis. The optimal shape of the rotor and grinding chamber leads to the generation of an air stream that transports the ground material to the integrated cyclone with a sample bottle. The air stream protects the sample from heating, which means grinding without losing moisture.
Supplied with the device, they guarantee optimal grinding, so there is no need to recalibrate the NIR spectrometer. It is possible to choose one of three rotor speeds to perfectly adapt the device to the application requirements. Cleaning the mill is quick and easy because the air flow leads to the complete removal of material from the grinding chamber.
