Description

The PERZL log grapple RZ 180 is a high-quality tool equipped with a radio-controlled cable winch and a protective guard. It offers an opening width of 1,800 mm and is ideal for use in forestry applications. The log grapple has a pulling force of 1.7 t and is equipped with a 40 m long, compacted steel cable with a breaking load of 3.4 t.
The grapple is standardly equipped with a 3-point hitch, as well as upper and lower link pins, and features two double-acting hydraulic connections and a feed line with return line for the cable winch. Made from high-strength fine-grain steel QSTE700, it offers a closing force of 9.5 t at 180 bar and can swivel approximately 98° in both directions.
The radio-controlled winch requires a 12 V power supply from the tractor and has a cable speed of approximately 0.5 m/s. With a weight of approximately 60 kg (without the log grapple) and an overall grapple width of 1,000 mm, overall length of 1,220 mm, and overall height of 2,300 mm, the log grapple is robust and functional.
