AMIS ARS 1200

The AMIS twin-shaft shredder has a CNC-machined, solid grinding chamber, which is completely bolted for easy maintenance. The machine housing and bearings are protected by wear rings and plates. The gear motors drive the two hexagonal working shafts, which can be equipped with different, exchangeable cutting discs. The two work shafts are supported in large-diameter SKF spherical roller bearings with lifetime lubrication. An automatic, battery-operated permanent lubrication system for the main bearings can be installed as an option.

Special features
Disassembly of the machine housing is not required to change the wear plates and wipers.
Thanks to the horizontally split bearing plates, the rotors including bearings can be installed/removed from above in a very short time. A rotor change with other cutting tools can thus be carried out easily and quickly.
The grinding chamber size can be changed with relatively little effort due to the bolted housing design. The motor equipment, gearbox size, installation position and rotor speed can be adapted accordingly.

Electrical control
The machine is operated by a modern Siemens S 7/1200 control system with advanced 7-inch touch screen display.
