Condition: new, Year of construction: 2026, Weima Hacker / Shredder WL 8 with Top Features - 2nd knife row, log spacer, 4-sided segment base, discharge auger with gear motor, Fast reverse hydraulics with shock valve The single-shaft shredder WL 8 is a proven classic for shredding wood waste of all kinds. It is used, for example, thousands of times in woodworking companies worldwide. The high number of these highly sought-after shredders guarantees proven and reliable technology at the best price-performance ratio. The machines are characterized by their very robust design, which ensures extremely high durability (even outdoors). Intuitive operation thanks to Siemens PLC control with touch display To ensure that the electronics are optimally adapted to the machine, we design, build and wire our control cabinets ourselves. We use only high-quality components – for example, from Siemens or Rittal. Intuitively operated touch surfaces guarantee quick adjustments. Functions such as adjusting the slide timing or stop ensure a high throughput. The built-in overload protection also prevents damage to the machine. No material bridging due to self-cutting hopper design The hopper performs several tasks at once. First, the material to be shredded is fed into it – manually, mechanically or via a conveyor belt. The generous opening also makes it easy to fill very large parts. However, its special design, which is rounded at the front and thus effectively prevents material bridging, is crucial for the shredding process. Even with bulky parts, the shredder cuts itself free. If required, both hopper extensions and lids with gas spring are available. Durable rotor bearings thanks to offset design Nodpopdqzxefx Ai Tswn A rotor bearing must be particularly robust due to its extreme stress during the shredding process. To prevent dust or foreign objects from entering it, we have separated it from the machine frame. This also makes it very easy to maintain and access. Condition: used, Year of construction: 2026, Special price – demonstration machine, Garbsen. Our WL 6 machine concept. The Weima high-performance shredder, with its flexible application options, can process all types of wood-based materials (hardwood, softwood, chipboard, MDF materials, plywood, veneer remnants, etc.) into wood chips, achieving a significant volume reduction of the material, especially with bulky materials. Mode of operation: The machine is equipped with a large feed hopper and can be loaded via a conveyor belt or manually. This hopper can be adapted to individual needs and guarantees a continuous and cost-effective material feed without requiring manual assistance. The hydraulically controlled slide feeds the wood waste to be shredded to the cutting area of the rotor and is automatically and load-dependent controlled. The internal slide guides are made of highly abrasion-resistant plastic (polyamide) and can be adjusted. The hydraulic cylinders are cardanically suspended to avoid transverse forces on the piston seals. The patented and profiled V-rotor, made of solid steel, has a diameter of 252 mm and operates with a rotor speed of 80 - 120 rpm. The concave, aggressive, and four-way rotatable knives/cutting crowns are located in milled knife pockets on special knife carriers. This patented system guarantees, through the resulting reduction in the cutting gap between the counter-knife and the rotor, a high throughput, low energy consumption, and an optimal discharge of the shredded material. The screen located under the rotor determines the chip size (10 - 100 mm). An optionally available, hydraulically opening screen basket is also available. The power transmission from the electric motors is via V-belts to a heavily dimensioned gearbox, which is attached to the rotor shaft on one side. Precise cutting at high throughput with a profiled V-rotor. The V-rotor, developed specifically by WEIMA, is universally applicable and made of solid material. Its aggressive material feed, with up to two knife rows, guarantees a high throughput with low power consumption. It can be equipped with hardened cutting knives made of steel with edge lengths of 30 mm and 40 mm. These can be repeatedly rotated when worn, which drastically reduces maintenance costs. Intuitive operation thanks to a Siemens PLC control with a touch display. To ensure that the electronics are optimally matched to the machine, we design, build, and wire our control cabinets ourselves. In doing so, we use only high-quality components – for example, from Siemens or Rittal. Intuitively operable touch screens guarantee quick adjustments. Functions such as adjusting the slide timing or stop ensure a high throughput. The built-in overload protection also prevents damage to the machine.
